"Learn an Irish Song" Workshop
"If you want to sing a song, why not sing an Irish Song". Facilitated by Maura Logue & Farrah Bogle
Maura logue is an  Irish language Speaker and has worked as an actress and a director in both English and Irish Language productions, including  TG4's Ros Na Run. Maura will focus on the "cupla Focal" and the  lyrics  of an Irish song, and Farrah Bogle, accomplished award winning  local  singer and musician, will support with  the musical content of the workshop. Students will understand the story and the language of the song, so that they can claim it as their own, and have a a new  Irish song in their "party repertoire" post the workshop.
 
"Beat that Bodhran" Workshop
"Take that dusty Bodhran from the shelf, and let Gino Lupardi reintroduce you to its heartBeat "
Gino  is a well respected member of the well known group  "4 men and a Dog"  Their first album, Barking Mad  took Folk Roots, best new album award in 1991, the first Irish band to ever do so. The larger-than-life percussionist Gino Lupari is the soul of the band, who even manages a rap on Wrap It Up:  I'm a raker, I'm a shaker, I can make that white top hum, I'm the man who puts the iddery in the skiddery I de dum. Gino is also a highly experienced and accomplished facilitaor, enfusing the workshop with his  distinct relaxed and positive personality he encourages students to  further their basic Bodhran skills in an "at ease" atmosphere. Sarah McQuaid is the author of a guitar tutor, The Irish DADGAD Guitar Book, described by The Irish Times as “a godsend to aspiring traditional guitarists,” and has developed two workshops: one of which is an Introduction To DADGAD,  Sarah is delivering this DADGAD workshop herself so one is advised to book early to secure a place.

Ted Hall, International renowned storyteller Workshop
“If you want to tell a story…. why not tell an Irish Story “
Ted Hall is offering a special Irish folklore storytelling workshop on Sun the 31st at 1pm to 3pm. The themes of the storytelling workshop are based on Irish Folklore & legends. Ted is offering attendees the opportunity to learn to deliver with passion ,an Irish themed story and to develop skills in delivering their story with confidence and in an animated fashion. If you wish to pass on a slice of Irish culture to new listeners then this workshop is for you. Ted will focus on voice projection voice tone animation and skills in engaging the listener, in this unique workshops. So if you want to learn an Irish Story this is the workshop for you . Suitable for teenagers and adults.
 
Irish Themed Storytelling with Ted Hall
Ted Hall international gatherer of folklore of renown, will conduct an Irish Storytelling session in Dicey Reilly’s bar on Sun 31 st at 3pm. In the cosy “old world” atmosphere of Dicey Reilly’s ’s bar .Ted promises to entertain and bring the listener on a hypnotic auditory journey ,into the mists of time, to honour the of the heroic deeds of Irish legendary Heros
